Can You Trust the Cloud?

TL;DR

Inery’s team was invited to speak on “Connecting the disconnected web 3.0” at one of the Europe’s biggest NFT, Crypto and Metaverse conference held from 13th — 15th May 2022 — TOMORROW Conference, Belgrade, Serbia
Inery stood out as one of the first projects to actively address the challenge of decentralized data management and was well-received by the audience.
The CEO of Inery, Dr. Naveen Singh, gave a detailed presentation of the current data management challenges and how Inery could solve them while seamlessly integrating with the existing infrastructure of both the web 2.0 and web 3.0 worlds.
Dr. Naveen Singh and Vincent Irlweck also had a fruitful discussion with the audience on how developers can leverage IneryDB and where the project is headed in the near future.
All in all, Inery caught the attention of many and has sparked a conversation surrounding decentralized data management. The team has also been invited to several other conferences.
The visionaries behind Inery were invited to provide valuable insight from an expert’s perspective at one of the largest NFT, Crypto, and Metaverse conferences in Europe.

The TOMORROW Conference is an annual event that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and educators to discuss the innovations around web3, NFTs, cryptocurrencies, metaverse, and their impact on society.

First held in 2013, the event features a series of talks and panel discussions from industry leaders and opportunities to network with fellow attendees.

The latest session was held in May 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia, where the Inery team was invited which included the CEO (Dr. Naveen Singh), CTO (Ivan Vujic), and CMO (Vincent Irlweck), to speak on connecting the disconnected web 3.0, through layer-1 decentralized database management solutions.

Audience’s Take on Inery

The audience at the TOMORROW conference included some of the best minds and thought leaders in the blockchain space including Joel Dietz, the founder of MetaMask. For many, it was the first time that they were hearing about Inery.

What Inery was bringing to the table resonated with many as decentralizing data management is a large and persisting challenge in the web 3.0 space that very few actively voice out due to its convoluted nature.

Inery’s solution of decentralizing from ground zero and the team’s presentation of reconciling the siloed nature of blockchains was met with an overwhelmingly positive response from talented developers and entrepreneurs.

“We need this kind of a solution and what you are doing is revolutionizing the data market.”

The audience also indicated that Inery’s products are revolutionary and would likely act as a stepping stone for new technology and mass adoption of data management solutions.

Inery’s Presentation

Dr. Naveen Singh began with a brief introduction of himself and how Inery came to be.

For the longest time, a single-layer reconciliation framework for data storage and management was non-existent. Several projects, like Filecoin, made use of the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) to store their files in a decentralized manner. However, there was no solution that could do the full data storage management.

Inery is a layer-1 blockchain solution with IneryDB being the native decentralized database management product. The conventional sequence-based database (MySQL) and non-sequence-based database (MongoDB) service providers have become redundant. Hence, a much more secure and integrated solution is the need of the hour.

Some of the notable features of Inery is that it is its own chain and is not built atop other chains. This allows for greater sovereignty and developer freedom. Being a layer-1 blockchain also helps facilitate asset interoperability across chains. Further, it has a throughput of over 5,000 TPS and a block creation time of about half a second.

What’s Next for the Decentralized Database Management Space?
There’s a lot of excitement in the decentralized database management space, and for good reason. Decentralized databases have the potential to completely disrupt the traditional database management market.

Some of the biggest challenges facing decentralized database management include security, reliability, and performance.

At present, the team is working on the development of the RPC interface, the creation of modules and libraries for IneryDB for different languages, and database memory optimization to improve speed.

In the near future, Inery would work on improving search queries, importing non-relational databases into IneryDB, providing greater cross-chain support, and improving data compression.

Last but not least, at Inery, we are working towards improving the interoperability of assets within metaverses.

“One big problem is if you guys have one NFT or anything in one metaverse, you cannot actually shift it to another metaverse. This problem, you will see in the next two years on a huge scale, because then you are limited to one metaverse. That’s like one country where nobody can enter, only you are there and your assets, you cannot move to another country, which actually beats the whole motive of web 3.0.”

— Dr. Naveen Singh, CEO | Inery

Future Opportunities for Inery Stemming from TOMORROW Conference
The TOMORROW conference at Belgrade made a loud bang in the world of blockchain. This put Inery in the spotlight of several tech enthusiasts and investors.

From here on, the team at Inery has received several invites to conferences across the globe, like the AIBC conference in Malta, to speak on the developments of IneryDB, Inery blockchain, and how these solutions would impact the real world.

About Inery

Inery is the first-ever layer-1 blockchain offering the solution of decentralized database management with the vision to enable a new paradigm for data. Inery is designed to enable cross-chain communication of data, greater speed, and better security. It specifically addresses database management integrated with blockchain functionalities and distributed database management properties.

The Inery database management solution (IneryDB) allows a secure, low-cost, and immutable way for database management where the control of private information remains in the hands of users and enterprises. It sets the base for the web3 future to enable value creation by seamlessly connecting with other systems, applications, and layer-1 networks.
