We are thrilled to announce the release of IneryDB GUI Version 2.1, packed with new features and improvements designed to enhance your experience on our platform.
This update, officially released on July 11th, 2024, introduces a powerful Multiformat Import Plugin for seamless data migrations and numerous enhancements for a smoother user experience.
Here’s a detailed overview of what’s new and improved in this release.
Multiformat Import Plugin for Data Migration
Support for Multiple Data Formats
One of the standout features of IneryDB GUI Version 2.1 is the Multiformat Import Plugin, which supports data migrations from three of the most common file structures: JSON, XML, and CSV. This feature allows you to integrate diverse datasets into IneryDB effortlessly, ensuring a smooth transition from various data sources.
Custom Structure Creation
The Multiformat Import Plugin goes beyond simple data importation. Upon importing datasets, the plugin creates a custom structure tailored to the data. Each row or object from the imported files is converted into an instance of an Inery composition, ensuring that your data is not only integrated but also organized and ready for immediate use.
Easy Purchase and Activation
We’ve made the acquisition and activation of the Multiformat Import Plugin straightforward. The plugin is available for purchase directly from the plugin page within the IneryDB GUI. Once purchased, activating the plugin is as simple as clicking the "Apply" button.
User-Friendly Migration Execution
Executing migrations has never been easier. Once the Multiformat Import Plugin is activated, it can be accessed from the settings page. If the plugin has been applied, a Multiformat Import card will appear. Clicking on this card will prompt you to enter the name of the composition to be created and select the local files in one of the supported formats (JSON, XML, or CSV).
Enhanced User Experience
Front-End Bug Fixes
In addition to the new features, we have addressed several minor bugs in the front-end interface to improve the overall user experience. These fixes ensure a smoother and more reliable interaction with the IneryDB GUI, making your data management tasks more efficient and hassle-free.
Commitment to Continuous Improvement
At Inery, we are committed to continuously improving our platform to meet your evolving needs. We appreciate your ongoing support and feedback, which are invaluable in helping us enhance IneryDB.
